STACK ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS


Tighten all Outer Cases to Adapter Connections with the same tools and Torque that you use in assembling a Downhole Pump.

1. Unpack all filter parts and arrange them in the order shown in the accompanying drawing.

2. Lay filter element (B) on a flat work surface, thread Brass Nipple on Top Adapter (A) into the Brass Coupling on Filter Element (B).

3. Slide Outer Case (C) over Filter Element (B) and tighten to Top Adapter (A).

4. Slide Middle Adapter (D) over Filter Element (B) and tighten to Outer Case (C).

5. Lay Filter Element (B) on a flat work surface and tighten to previous Filter Element (B) taking caution not to overtighten or crossthread the connection. Be sure to use a backup wrench on previous element when tightening each element.

6. Slide Outer Case (C) over Filter Element (B) and tighten to Middle Adapter (D).

7. For each additional section repeat steps 4, 5, & 6.

8. To complete Stack Filter Assembly lay Bottom Element (E) on a flat work surface and tighten to previous Filter Element (B) taking caution not to overtighten or crossthread the connection.

9. Slide outer Case (C) with End Plug installed over Bottom Element (E) and tighten to Middle Adapter (D).

10. Insure that End Plug (F) is tightened securely.

NOTE: This is a filter. Please assemble in a clean work area.

Handle Filter Elements with care. Be sure to use a backup wrench on previous element when tightening each element. They can and will break if mishandled.
