SS-1250
Downhole Filter
Stanley Filter continues to innovate and design tools to solve the most arduous challenges the oilfield presents. After two years of design, development and testing, Stanley Filter is proud to introduce the new SS-1250 line of filters for the year 2016.
Stanley Filter’s SS-1250 series “Downhole Filter” is now constructed with a stainless steel mesh element. The element is a multiple layer woven wire mesh utilizing diffusion bonding of the 316 stainless. This process provides a monolithic structure with integrated filter media. While the Mesh sizes are available in a wide range of specifications, standard design is for 115 or 150 micron filtering. In addition, length may be also added to accommodate varying amounts of fluid volume.
The Stainless Steel SS-1250 Filter features the capability to be a stand-alone filter element, which provides benefits to the diversity of the Filter’s applications. The SS-1250 capabilities range from Rod Run Pumps to Plunger Lifts, thus, forming a direct union of the Filter to the bottom of any rod pump or bumper spring. For more extreme conditions, a housing can be provided for the SS-1250 upon request.
Benefits of Stainless Steel Mesh
The Diffusion bonding process (Sintering) adds stability and strength for the extreme downhole conditions the oilfield demands. Stainless steel filters can also be washed, cleaned, and re-used.

What is Diffusion Bonding?
Diffusion bonding is a high temperature process which fuses tangent metal surfaces without the addition of filter metals or bonding agents.
